Padangbai

Padangbai located in dense residential areas / edges and isolated by Celuk / bay called the Padang, which has been used as a harbor for many years. Padangbai name taken from the bay and because of the influence of the Dutch language, the phrase Padang Bay turned into Padangbai.
This tourist attraction is located in the Village Padangbai, Manggis District, Karangasem regency, Bali. About 53 km from Amlapura. Apart from being famous tourist destination, Padangbai is the gateway to and from Bali.

Padangbai is a port where large ships and small off their anchors. This area was developed as a tourist attraction with some of the attractions it has, such as white sand, the natural environment surrounding the beautiful, charming underwater panorama. In addition, the daily life of the fishermen and the crowd at the port becomes a plus in this area.
Attraction is also known for its sacred temple, "Silayukti Temple" and "Tanjung Sari Temple". Silayukti built by Mpu Kuturan. Besides these two temples, there are also Penataran Court, which is housed next to the West Padangbai.
