Subak Museum



Subak Museum is a museum that collects the tools of traditional Balinese farming and all the documentation it aims to remind young people about the famous Subak organization in the world. The museum is located in the Village Sanggulan, Kediri District, Tabanan Regency, exactly 20 km west of Denpasar. The museum was opened to the public and became one of the tourist destinations in Tabanan regency, west part of Bali. The location of the museum is very strategic in Tabanan town and close to other tourist destinations in the district.
Subak Museum consists of the building is closed and opened. The building is closed consist of exhibition stand where we can meet the demonstration of the object associated with the work of farmers, audio visual subak activities in connection with irrigation water management, libraries and offices. building open is the visualization of Subak demonstration in miniature of the pool as the relocation of irrigation, a tunnel for the flow of water from a swimming pool with water relocation. Objects and equipment that the farmer featured in the exhibition are building tools and objects are arranged, such as equipment for the opening of the agricultural farms, irrigation systems, livestock processing, conservation of crop plants, and kitchen appliances. Subak Museum has several functions such as:

In the tourism business, this place could be as a tourist destination, especially to bring in tourists from the big countries like America, Europe, Japan, etc. and is one of the unique and interesting places in Bali.
